    Description

    This advertising blotter if for a Tobacco-bed sprinkling system which could also be used for market gardeners and florists. It was offered by Earl Sexton of Hartford Connecticut. The blotter is undated, but I found a 1917 patent for a sprinkler assigned to Earl Sexton of Hartford, and the car in the photos looks to date from the 20's. Two of the corners have creases, and there's some wear on the edges.
