Original Antique Door Knob and Matching Rosette Back Plate.
This knob was manufactured by Ireland and dates to 1885. Blumin identification is H - 27500.
This knob is rare and doesn't come to market often.
Great knob for any door hardware collector.
Knob is a standard passenger size.
Knob and Plate are made of brass or bronze (magnet does not stick).
Knob attaches to spindle by twisting threaded piece on stem to put pressure on the spindle. The spindle that is used on this is specific to this set as it is notched. I do have the matching knob and rosette to complete this set. The other knob has the fixed (non removable) spindle with it. Winner of auction is welcome to buy the other knob to make full set if interested.
Knob and has no dents or issues. Plate is free of any damage or issues. There is nothing rattling inside. Knob has minor imperfections and signs of use. Please see pictures.
