in sterling silver with vermeil interior
Indian Raj Anglo colonial period

the contrast between the repousse processing and the oxidized base is very nice
the conditions are excellent for the age
the vermeil interior is bright and not faded
it has no dents
small filings on a corner of the bottom to test the quality of the silver
elongated octagonal shape typical of Kashmir with rounded corners
mainly used as a tea container
this box appears to have been used very little
