Antique Sterling Silver GORHAM TWO (2) Stamp holders, stamp cases 1881-2

Description

Sterling silver & Wood 3 compartment  stamp case, stamp holder
Hallmarked 1881 and 1882.  The stamp box marked with TAG # 532 in image is dated 1881
It has no monogram in lid, and the repousse work is more pronounced and more detailed.
It is slightly larger and the silver bands all around are slightly larger.
The box with the monogram is a little smaller, dated 1882 and just doesn't stand out as much
when compared
with the 1881 case.
The Earlier 1881 stamp case is just a little  "BRIGHTER"
They both have the same 1320 Pattern # stamped in the sterling.
Both have gold wash in reverse side of lid,and sloped wood compartments
