This listing is for an Antique Victorian (1892-1902) TIFFANY & CO. Sterling silver Chatelaine Etui Trinket Box Case.
This item is detailed with a Musical Cherub Putti holding a Tambourine, surrounded by Cattails with a Stern Ram's Head design below.
Gilt interior and the outside has lovely patina (possibly a bit of vermeil on the outside as well?)
I'll leave the decision to polish up to its new owner.
Large enough to hold small jewelry, trinkets, or to use as a large pill box etc.

In looking up the marks, this item dates to c1892-c1902
DIMENSIONS:
The main round case measures about 2 3/8" in diameter at the largest points.
the inside opening is about 1 15/16" in diameter.
MONOGRAMS:
MSL on the bottom.

53.9 grams
CONDITION:
The Silver has a few tiny nicks, scuffs, scratches, minor wear and imperfections, as you expect to find on antique silver items -though not very large/deep or objectionable.
the silver has patina, tarnish and discoloration in areas as well and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in areas (if desired).
The interior has a Gilt wash on the silver, and there might be remnants of a vermeil gold wash on the outside of this item as well. -please see images.
We will leave the decision to polish the silver up to its new owner, once they receive it.
