    Description

    On consignment with us is this C & D Jarnagin made
    size 42
    (
    see size note below
    ) gray wool C.S. single breasted greatcoat. This coat has been used but remains in excellent physical condition. Has some light dirt stains along the very bottom edge but that’s about it. A dry cleaning, although not mandatory, would step this coat up a little.
    This coat features a “stand & fall” pattern collar w/ two black steel hooks & eyes, an elbow length cape, two rear adjustment belts w/ retainer loop, roll-back cuffs plus a split faced rear vent. Buttons are stamped brass block “I”s with five 7/8” on the body, two 7/8” on the rear adjustment belts and six smaller 5/8” on the cape. All the buttons have a slight patina to them but are in great physical condition (no dings, dents, etc). Inside we have a gray wool flannel waist length body lining with the sleeves lined in muslin. The owners name, city and state are printed (old style print) on the left sleeve lining at the shoulder. This coat is entirely machine sewn including button holes.
    Here are some additional sizes. PLEASE check these against your own respective sizes (especially the SLEEVE LENGTH) to insure that this coat will fit you satisfactorily on all points.

    SIZE NOTE:
    Most of the front buttons can be moved out a little to take this coat to a size 44. If that’s a consideration
    you still need to make sure all the other measurements above fit you
    (collar, shoulders, sleeve, etc) as they will not be affected by moving the buttons out; only the chest will.
    This coat will ship via Postal Service “Retail Ground” to keep the shipping fee down.
