Guidelines for properly playing the bowls:
Using the mallet, strike the inside or outside of the bowl gently three times.
Rub either the rim of the bowl in circular motion until the desired vibration is created.
Remove mallet for bowl resonance and absorb the energy

Do not 'BOOM' bowl by striking too hard or playing too load
Do not play two, or more bowls in very close proximity
Do not put vibrating bowl in front of your face or put your head inside of bowl
Cleaning Instructions:
Use distilled water with about a 10% solution of bio-degradable detergent or water alone. You may apply this solution with a toothbrush to the granular outside surface. Dry with a blow dryer
