    RARE ~ Simpson-Sears Ltd. ~ Vintage SEARS Kenmore Electric Citrus Juicer
    This item would make a great addition to that retro kitchen with it's 50's - 60's styling!
    In 1952,
    Simpsons-Sears Ltd.
    was formed as the result of a partnership agreement between Sears, Roebuck and Co.
    with the Canadian department store firm Simpson's Ltd. of Toronto, formerly known as the Robert Simpson Co. After the deal, Simpson's continued to operate their own stores, creating such sights as a mall with a "Simpson's" at one end and a "Simpsons-Sears" at the other. Since this created confusion, in 1971 Simpsons-Sears changed their logo to use only the Sears name. I'm guessing these juicers were made for Sears by Proctor-Silex due to the same bowl, strainer and ceramic reamer used on the Proctor-Silex Juicit line. It also has the VERY powerful 125 watt motor (compared to 10-20 watts on most of todays' juicers). This was the same wattage used on the Proctor-Silex Juicit line. This particulat juicer has the on/off switch located on the back, like the Juicit Deluxe line of Proctor-Silex juicers. All sides, plus top and bottom are shown in the pics.
