I am pleased to offer from my private collection this rare vintage 20 microns rolled gold  Soviet Russo-Chinese diplomatic award Volna chronometer wristwatch
c1970's.
Original dial depicting a portrait of the Chairman Mao Zedong and the Chinese flag.Central red seconds hand!
Maximim 22 jewells. Highest possible grade movement with gold compensating balance and gold shock absorber incablock on balance.
Dust and shock protected with screw back steel case.
Signed AU20 for 20 microns thick gold layer. The gold from this kind of rolled gold cases practically never wear,because it is very thick. Todays gold electroplated cases are made of approx 0.3 microns. (near 100 times less gold)
