I am always trying to offer the nicest vintage watches here on eBay. Here is a very clean Men's Hamilton watch. I am pretty sure this is a model Sutton model and dates back to 1936. There is a patent date of 5-3-27 on the inside of the Wadsworth 14k gold filled case. This aggressively curved case measures 24.9 mm wide not including the recessed crown and is 43.0 mm long. Has an unusual wide open looped lug design which uses 14 mm lug spacing. The case is very clean especially for this watch being 85 years old. Has stepped sides. This 1930's Hamilton watch has a very cool and is running. Has a pop-off case back free of any engraving. There are the numbers H133929 on the inside of the
SIGNED
case back. The SIGNED dial is super clean and has 18k gold applied Arabic hour markers. Matching gold hands. Sunken second hand at the 6 o'clock position.
The
SIGNED
movement is a USA made 17 jewel Cal. 980 and this watch is running. There is a number G132314 on the movement. The curved crystal is clean but not perfect. There is a rather weird single keeper brown leather strap attached in nearly NOS condition. I am selling it as-is and as found. I have no service records for this 80+ year old Hamilton watch.
