D8-4 calipers are a direct bolt-on replacement for the OE calipers on all 1965-82 Corvettes. Forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals put an end to the rust, bore pitting and seal failures that plague the OE caliper design. D8-4 calipers provide low-maintenance performance, a huge weight savings, and high temperature reliability for street or track. D8-4 calipers mount in the stock location over stock rotors, use the original style D8 brake pads, and fit snugly inside most '67 or newer production wheels. Some wheels, including the 1965-66 OE "JK" code steel wheels and a few aftermarket replica alloy wheels, will require a 3/16" or wider wheel spacer for clearance. Kits contain DOT compliant stainless braided brake lines and BP-10 compound Smart Pads

Summary:
I replaced the front disc calipers on my Corvette 6 times in several months. Each time the calipers leaked, or the bleeders leaked( I even tried new speed bleeders). Rebuilt calipers came from different local part stores, two of the stores used the same vendor for rebuilds, the third store a different rebuild vendor. The price difference between new stock calipers and this Wilwood kit with all parts included was minimal, the higher quality product made it an easy decision to go with Wilwood. The results were well worth the costs, the product was easier to install, and much lighter weight then original.

Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If within 60 days after you receive your shipment and you are not satisfied, you may return the item for a refund. Refunds will be processed (1-2) days after the item is received by Speedway. All returned merchandise must be in original factory condition with no modifications or alterations. A restocking fee up to 15% may be applied if items are not in new condition.
Returned merchandise must include all packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. If the items being returned need to be repackaged, there will be a repacking charge. Repack the item in a sturdy box, include a copy of your invoice and complete the form on the back of the invoice. You must ship orders back PREPAID. WE DO NOT ACCEPT COD SHIPMENTS.
All fiberglass items returned will be subject to a 15% restocking charge. No returns on electrical parts, DVDs, and books unless they are defective. Absolutely no returns on special order or closeout merchandise.
